Myles Rowe has signed with ABEL Motorsports to drive in INDY NXT by Firestone in 2026, his second consecutive season with the team.

Rowe, 25, will continue driving the Force Indy No. 99 for the 2026 season after earning his first two career victories in the INDYCAR development series in that car in 2025.

“It’s a huge privilege to be extending the partnership with Abel Motorsports,” Rowe said. “Their support and dedication is exactly what a driver looks for in a team, and I couldn’t be more pleased to continue our strides to contest for the 2026 INDY NXT by Firestone championship.”

Rowe amassed an impressive nine top-five finishes, five podium finishes and oval victories at Iowa Speedway and Nashville Superspeedway (photo, above) in his first season with ABEL Motorsports in 2025. He became the first Black driver to win in the series with his Iowa victory.

Georgia native Rowe climbed to INDY NXT in 2024 with HMD Motorsports after winning the 2023 USF Pro 2000 championship.

“Our performance has seen encouraging progression over the 2025 season, and the ability to continue to work on what we have developed together is something I am very eager to pursue and grateful to have,” Rowe said.

Said team owner Bill Abel: “I’m really excited to have Myles back with us for 2026. It’s been fantastic to watch his progression throughout his career as a driver and it was super satisfying to see him win this year, and we’re looking for more of that in 2026.”

Rowe will continue to race with the support of Force Indy, as he has for his open-wheel career since progressing from karting.

“We’ve come a long way in being more competitive this year,” Force Indy founder Rod Reid said. “The plan is to capitalize on what we’ve learned.”

Rowe and Force Indy/ABEL Motorsports will get back to work on track Oct. 27 during the annual Chris Griffis Memorial Test on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.
